This wine comes from old vines aged more than 50 growing on a clay and calcareous soil which gives it a mineral and flowery finish supported by a strong minerality that merges month after month.
Its aromas of white flowers, violet, ripe fruit and quince make it a typical wine of the Marsanne variety.
It will go well as a pre-dinner drink and with all your starters, seafood, grilled fish, prawn terrine and of course with local cheese such as Saint-Félicien, Saint-Marcellin, “picodons” (small dried goat’s cheese) as well as “reblochon” (very soft cow’s cheese from Savoie) and any other soft cheese.
To be served between 10 and 12°C.
